Our Story
What is "Livwa?"
The name "Livwa" (Lĭv / wah) was born by condensing the term "living water" into one word. This concept was inspired by John 4:9-13 and John 7:38. The former is the passage in which Jesus encounters a Samaritan woman at the well and informs her that He is the source of living water. He tells her that this living water becomes a “fresh, bubbling spring” within those who obtain it from Him, ushering them towards eternal life. In the latter scripture, Jesus states that when people are thirsty and drink from Him, rivers of living water will flow from their hearts.
Thus, Jesus explains that the living water we receive from Him gives us eternal life, and the living water that pours out from us may be the avenue through which others are saved. Water quenches the soul, and it also quenches the skin. Therefore, the concept for a skin care line that emphasizes the hydrating and healing power of water was brought to life by this vital concept of salvation from God’s Word.
Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver high quality skin care products while glorifying the Lord. Livwa Skincare harnesses the goodness in God’s creation (fruit extracts, amino acids, humectants, etc.) and wields data-informed formulation to deliver an excellent product. With your continued support, additional products will be developed to accompany the Pomegranate Green Tea Oil-Control Serum. Our products will hydrate, nourish, and rejuvenate your skin.
Livwa Skincare is committed to teaching you more about the Lord and how much He loves you. In our growing Instagram community, we discuss scripture, testimonies, and sermon highlights. Livwa is developing into a God-loving community through which we encourage and support each other in what God called each of us to do.
In the future, Livwa aims to develop sustainable operations and pursue philanthropic endeavors. For now, we will focus on catering to your skin care needs with products that are creation-forward, God-centered, and science-backed.
Meet the Founder
From the lab bench to the design studio, Taylor Sullivan’s steps have been intricately ordered by the Lord. She began her career as a biological scientist, immersed in research and cell therapy manufacturing. But, from a young age, her heart also beat for art—a passion she knew she could nurture through entrepreneurship.
Over the past two years, Taylor prayed for a way to bring these three passions together into one purpose-filled career. In His perfect timing, God answered. He revealed a path on which science, creativity, and business converge. And this new journey is not just for her fulfillment, but also for her to serve the Lord and others.
Thus, Livwa Skincare was born. By the grace of God, Taylor now spends her days formulating nourishing products, designing with artistry, creating meaningful content, and building a brand rooted in love and self-care.
